Valve, Steam and Bitcoin support

Is anyone else sincerely disappointed that Valve dropped btc support during the dust spam event that sent fees soaring?
It was one of the few places I enjoyed spending btc and I can't think I was the only one that didn't want to lodge my CC details with them but still purchase games.
How could one (or a group) go about trying to get them to reconsider. Especially now that the network fees are super low again. Petition maybe?

Steam and Bitcoin

Why does steam uses bitpay when there are much betters bitcoin services out there? Its stupid for me to pay almost 10% to 40% of what I want in my wallet just of fees because Bitpay do not follow the segwit principle already implemented in bitcoin core. I use blockchain wallet for small steam transactions and the fees there adjust based on the mempool, which bitpay doesnt.

Need some help/experience when it comes to Steam and Bitcoin

So today I tried to buy Nier Automata through steam using Bitcoin as a currency, I paid a 165 satoshi/byte fee via Bitpay for the transaction. It turns out the transaction wasn't confirmed in the 3 hour span that Steam has set for a confirmation and they auto-cancelled my order while the transaction is still pending.
Now, is there any way to get that Bitcoin back? Does Steam still honor the purchase if it gets verified? I'm clueless when it comes to such transactions so any help would be appreciated.
Update: Everything is fine, Steam added the game to my library.

Steam and Bitcoin

I purchased a game on Steam for $7.49 and it advised me when I went through their BitPay service that since I had "low miner fees" that it was taking longer to process the payment and that the game would be available once the transaction went through. When I checked my wallet it had actually taken out $11 worth of Bitcoin, so I am guessing that the increased amount was due to a market move during the lag time? Thanks.

[D][Offtopic] Steam removed the "Bitcoin" item from every inventory and banned the Devs.

So there was this new item popping up on the front page. The Bitcoin
It got dissussed here, and almost everybody agreed that this is a scam.
Turns out it was. Who would knew ;)
The Devs and "Masterminds" behind the scam got banned and every single item got removed from every inventory.
Yesterday i got curious how steam would handle such a situation, so i bought one item for 0.9$ off the market.
I will update this if i get my money back.
Honestly i dont really care about the money but i am quiet interessted into the action from valves side.
It only took them one day to get a hold of this situation.
Thank you steam.
Stay safe and dont invest your money into stuff you dont understand.
Edit 1: i got my money back. Thx steam.

How to pay for Air Tickets, Netflix, Steam, VPN, and other services using Bitcoin in Lebanon

There has been an increase in interest in Bitcoin usage, more people are realizing the freedom Bitcoin can provide to current limitations, and many people are asking what can we use Bitcoin for other than storing value from ever dropping local currency, on top of it it’s getting harder to pay for online services, hosts, vpns, netflix and if you are running a small business in resale you are facing a lot of challenges as well.
Many popular websites are already accepting direct payments in Bitcoin, others you will need to go through a payment processor or by buying gift cards.
Using Bitrefill or Cryptorefills you will be able to purchase a digital gift card that can be redeemed in your account with selected denomination. With these gift card providers now you will be able to recharge your Netflix, Amazon, Apple account, Google Play, Spotify, Steam, PSN, PUBG and many many other services.

Here is a small list i prepared of website that accept Bitcoin directly :

Here is a link to a bigger list :

As a bonus for those that still have some kind of international limit left, you can sign up at Purse purse(dot) io through which you will be able to fulfill orders of other people using your Amazon balance for instance in return for Bitcoin! You can use your $30 limit for example to top-up your balance in Amazon, and fill an order to be delivered to someone's doorstep and you will be paid in Bitcoin. Everything is tracked by Purse (dot) io therefore no worries of sending an item without getting your Bitcoin, only down side that at the beginning you will pay an extra premium for your Bitcoin.

Why is nobody selling Steam GiftCards on Local.Bitcoin.com yet? The pseudo-KYC at keys4coins.com really annoys me. I am tired od setting up 10-minute-emails and making up fake user data just to purchase a stupid gift card.

My PC got hacked by Russian bitcoin mining hackers by playing non-official CSGO servers. Steam community Hub banned my steam account for wristleblowing and trying to warn others. Be warned
My PC woke up last night from sleep mode and this morning my CPU and GPU are burning like hell. I didnt download any software last 1 month. I was only playing on unofficial CSGO servers to beg Russian cheaters to give free cheat. Because CSGO is full of Russian cheaters these days. I didnt even notice that CSGO source code was leaked week before. I took me to download a map like 5 minutes yesterday. and shit happens today. Luckily i notice what is going on en removed trojan. I tried to warn other players,do not play on unoffical CSGO servers. Those mods on steam community hub banned my account instead and they dont take responsibility to my claim. As you can see that trojan(idag.exe) is burning my CPU and GPU. My GPU was 90 celsius this morning.
My steam account is banned instead of Thank you for your wristleblowing info. i cant use mic and type in chat in CSGO official match. They fucking silenced me. I am wondering if steam is runned by Russian government or what?
