I’m freaking out over bitcoin miner fee

Hi everyone, I just did my first bitcoin withdrawal into my Blockstream Green wallet and I did an amount of only 0.0001 bitcoin so I could test it out. I was transferring it from coinbase pro and when I was doing it the fee said “0” I thought it was weird but I thought maybe it was 0 since it was such a small amount. I go into my green wallet to see that the fee is 0.00035 bitcoin, which is way more than I even transferred in. Am I going to go a negative balance?? And I thought with coinbase pro I could choose my fee level. I’m probably overreacting but I’m freaking out since is the first time I’ve done this.

Bitcoin Miners fees raise the barriers to Entry

Is no one concerned that the Bitcoin miners fees raise the barrier to Entry especially just when there is high demand?
And therefore affects Bitcoin price's ability to moon?
It seems like the Miners fee is becoming an automatic lockout especially for new entrants just when everyone wants to get in.

bitcoin donations - high miners fee - what if theres a solution?

so, we all know that donating bitcoin to streamers is not worthwhile since the bitcoin miners fee make it too expensive to send small donations (miners fee can reach a few dollars for a fast transaction). is there a solution here that i haven't found yet? do you guys think that making a fast and low fee solution to this problem would benefit the community of streamers and viewers alike?

An unfortunate experience with xmr.to and BitPay (the latter is the problem).

I have used xmr.to before and have only positive experiences. However, BitPay is a mess.
I used xmr.to to send BTC to BitPay. Unfortunately, BitPay claim they are unable to accept the transaction because the fees (from xmr.to) are too low. The blockchain shows dozens of confirmations.
"Your bitcoin transaction has been broadcast, but it does not yet have any confirmations. BitPay does not have your money. We also cannot control when transactions are confirmed on the Bitcoin network. Why is this taking so long? You created your transaction with a low bitcoin miner fee, which goes to pay the Bitcoin network's cost for confirming your payment. This low fee may prevent your payment from being confirmed on the Bitcoin network in the usual period of a few minutes to a few hours."
It's a small amount but irritating. I did not keep the secret key from xmr.to.
Can anything be done? If BitPay returns the funds (unlikely) presumably they will be returned to xmr.to. This is, I suppose, a danger with using a third party to generate a BTC transaction.

BitPay confirms working on SegWit and development on the Lightning Network!

BitPay confirms working on SegWit and development on the Lightning Network!
We will continue to build on the Bitcoin blockchain without interruption. We're examining every option we can use to allow Bitcoin users to continue to affordably and reliably pay for the things they need, including the current development efforts on the Lightning Network.
We are already working in various parts of our platform to support transactions with SegWit. Segwit is a new set of features in Bitcoin which can reduce the bitcoin miner fee cost for transactions by over 40% on average. However, with average transaction fees already around $20, we understand that Bitcoin alone cannot handle the current demand for blockchain payments.

Bitcoin miners are the special pieces of hardware that confirm and secure transactions on the bitcoin network. Miner fees pay miners for the service they provide. Miners provide an important service: network security. A large network hash rate keeps Bitcoin safe from attacks by bad actors.. Miners need an incentive to pay for electricity and hardware costs. ASIC mining hardware keeps Bitcoin secure through proof of work.Right now, miners are paid through a combination of Bitcoin’s block reward and transaction fees. Ethereum miners are signaling their disapproval of a technical proposal advocated by top Ethereum developers, a new survey shows. Eight of the nine mining projects partaking in a community survey on Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) 1559 had a negative impression of the proposal, with seven of the nine saying they would refuse to implement the […] From a bitcoin miner perspective, they don't care of the value of a transaction, but just the size (amount of bytes), because they are only allowed to create blocks of 1,000,000 bytes or less. So miners don't consider the absolute fee a transaction has, but rather, the fee per byte. Why are the fee estimations so high?
